Lines: 22 Just took a pile of 4MB simms and installed them in the last 8 slots of my 8MB 040 cube to create a 40MB machine. The new simms are 9-chip parity simms and the cube absolutely refuses to boot with parity and non-parity simms mixed. 1) Can I disable the mixed memory checking and run without parity? 2) Does someone make a tool for removing simms? My two-little-screwdrivers-over-the-holes method is a pain. I would RTFM but the system won't boot :-( Thanks -- Lloyd Buchanan lloyd@Axecore.COM Axe Core Investors uupsi!axecore!lloyd Axe Castle (914) 333-5226 (phone) Tarrytown, NY 10591 (914) 333-5208 (FAX)
