Recently I posted a suggestion about removing core files form the
Icon.app directory, and incorrectly stated that this could not
be done from the viewer.  I rightfully got slapped on the wrist from
a NeXT employee who says:

Shame on you. You can open .app (and .mbox) directories from the file viewer  
via the "Open as Folder" item in the "File" submenu (command O).
