Which ROM version do you have?  With 2.1 (v59) it's apparently
not possible.  With 2.2 (v63) there's an NVRAM preference
(type `p') that controls this.  I don't know if there are any
"intermediate" versions out there.  We only have one '040 cube at
the moment (where are our other upgrades?), and it has 2.2 (v63).

Someone must, since NeXT's '030->'040 upgrade kits include one.
