Yes, I've been doing this for quite some time on my 040 cube with 8
parity and 8 non-parity SIMMS.

As Eric P. Scott indicates there will be modifications to the ROM
Monitor that allow you to tell your cube you don't care about parity
memory and this will allow us to still perform the memory check.
