Anway, about 22:30 PST last it was another case of: "put in the parts and turn it on"! I still don't know if the SCSI stuff works, but the LED's glow and the ROM monitor runs fine. I don't have all the harware I need yet (no SCSI disk) but it won't be long. Now where did I stash that PI program... Many thanks to Dave and George for a design so clean even I (who did my last soldering 20 years ago with a 200 watt gun) could make it work, and to Steve for putting together a parts kit so complete I could just "plug'n play". I hope to be able to return the pleasure this project has given me with some useful software soon. ---- Tom Rushworth (604) 733-0731 [FAX: 733-0634] | uunet!ubc-cs!van-bc!tacitus!tbr Timberline Forest Inventory Consultants | or: tbr@tfic.bc.ca
