We will have 15+ floors with PDS twisted pair wiring. All floors will be cabable of running true 10baseT ethernet. The floors will be connected with routers and each floor will have multiple fileservers. In addition, there will be multiple Pyramid MIServer superminis located in a centralized spot. We presently use MDQS for printing and are looking for a 'better' solution. Does anyone have any thought or ideas on this? We would like a system that provides centralized queueing, allows for redundant queue servers and provides centralized print/job control. It should also be able to run on a Sun and Pyramid platform. All printers must be available from all systems. Printers and terminals will be connected to ethernet via terminal servers. There will also be some Sun SLCs. We know there are many ways to do this , but figured we would ask around and see if anyone had already gone down this road before. Any information would be appreciated.
