Price of T800 ? Luigi Rizzo I happen to have had a quote for T805-30R chips yesterday. Note that this is 30MHz, reduced temp range in PGA. I was quoted #177 (pounds Sterling) for 10 pieces. This seems very high to me. I paid #124 for a single T805-30R last year. Although the T800 is now an old design, it does not necessarily follow that it is cheaper than the current T805. Have you asked about T805s? So the ballpack price in the UK from a component distributor is somewhere over 100 pounds. That is if you are buying a fair number of chips, not necessarily transputers. Obviously if you are buying a single chip not bundled with a substantial order, then it is fair for distributors to charge more. If you want a real bargin, buy T400s in quad flat pack! But no FPU and only 2 links. But *any* transputer is a bargin at less than 500pounds, isn't it?? Adrian Lawrence
