I asked the same question a couple months ago and received no response. Since that time, a fellow worker pointed out to me that the .fnt file format is in the MS Windows 2.0 SDK (p.639f to be exact). It's too long to reproduce here. I hope you can find a copy of it. By the way, I have not yet tried to use this information. I'm assuming that the 3.0 format is the same (of course, you know that this assuming is a dangerous business.)
