Six years ago I had a cycle accident, had to be carried home, just round the block so to speak, had two doctors look at me who said I had only bruised myself. Four weeks later, not being able to walk, get upstairs to bed, and in constant really bad pain, so that when I tried to walk my leg and back went into spasms and the pain was so bad it made me feel faint, some friends took me to hospital, and after an xray found two hairline fractures of the pelvis. Wow! I would not like to go through that again, so can appreciate how life must be for someone who is in constant pain day in day out. My husband is, but he says he's had it all his life so doesn't know what its like to be without. So people like you two must be very brave. I hate pain, toothache is bad enough! Be pleased to discuss more with you and hope this area will become popular in the UK. Apparently there are more working hours lost in the UK for reasons of backpain than any other condition, so lets hope that a few more will use this echo to discuss their problems with us.
