Some do the same basic method, except transfer into the drivers side and pull the chair behind the drivers seat. the advantage is that you don't have to slide as far to move out of the seat's back way. My best transfer is into the passanger side and I felt the chair kept me sitting too far forward. But at least you don't have to have someone to go out driving!
