Whew!  What a story!  And a very sad one.

This points out the need for more *Deaf* therapists, teachers,
counselors and whatever.  Gallaudet University is now offering PhD's in
Clinical Psychology, and this may help with this great need.

(Ann Stalnaker faints away at the thought.)

The young woman needs a new counselor!
