It seems fairly nice, B&W with 3 lux sensitivity and a 2-way audio intercom. However, I have no idea if the price is competitive. For CCTV stuff that is pretty cheap. Fordham has a large selection. The cheapest that I have seen is the DAK "home detective" or some silly name. It is a small plastic CCD camera, about 50-100' of wire, and a small BW monitor. All for about $150. The unit is made my Uniden and given the price it is quite nice. The quality of the camera image is relatively poor but if you can manage the price is right. I need good low-light sensitivity for nighttime use. Audio would be nice, but color is not required. If you know of sources and/or prices for such systems please let me know. If I receive email responses and requests for the info I will summarize. This may not fit the bill for you if you need performance too. jv . /|/| _______/ | | ( ) \ | | \|\| _____ | | Johnathan Vail | n1dxg@tegra.com |Tegra| (508) 663-7435 | N1DXG@448.625-(WorldNet) ----- jv@n1dxg.ampr.org {...sun!sunne ..uunet}!tegra!vail
