It would not surprise me if many of these barrels were procured for those 2 battleships. I would like to pose one question: during this most recent reactivations of all 4 Iowa's, did all 4 of them ever link up and steam together? I have seen a picture from the early 80's when reactivations were being discussed that showed the last time they all steamed together back in the early 50's (if I remember the date correctly). -- Roger M.
