I bought DeSmet C and a couple of upgrade revs back when it was commercialware (early to mid-80s). After a couple of upgrade revs, DeSmet seemed to have disappeared. A while later I heard it was now shareware. By that time I had moved on to Microsoft C and Turbo C. But every now and then, I kinda miss DeSmet C. I think it would fit on a 768K HardRAM disk on my Toshiba T1000 (try that with Microsoft C 6.0 or Turbo C++ :-). This brings up an interesting situation though. Since I bought DeSmet C and a couple of revs, am I obligated to pay the shareware cost if I like whatever it is I pick up from Simtel? -- Todd Ogasawara ::: Hawaii Medical Service Association Internet ::: todd@pinhead.pegasus.com Telephone ::: (808) 536-9162 ext. 7
