Message-ID: Date: 5 Mar 91 18:06:56 GMT Sender: davidm@cimshop.UUCP Distribution: comp Organization: Consilium Inc., Mountain View, California Lines: 14 Occasionally with different packages on top of Emacs (like GNUS), I get an error message that is too long for the echo area (especially if it tries to display a full pathname). From what I can see, Emacs truncates the error message to the length of the echo area. Does anyone know if there is a way to jump to the echo area and scroll through the error message? Note, I'm pretty sure this is *different* than jumping to the minibuffer as the error messages are not put in the minibuffer. -- ==================================================================== David Masterson Consilium, Inc.
