I wonder if I'm in the right base for asking the following question.. it concerns Graphics programming in the VGA enviorment. Is it possible for me to write to the screen the first 200 chars in the IBM character set, one after the other (5 screen lines), then clearing the whole char set (to blanks - fill the specific memory bank with 0's). Once this is done, I would like to write to the char set, creating animation. It's quite impressive, what I have in mind (I have programmed this on my trusty ol' Commodore, and would like to do the same on the IBM) I hope I wasn't too vague. It's sorta difficult to explain. But I would appreciate any replies. Thanks! Andrew.
