I'm posting this for a friend, so please respond via e-mail  --  Thanks.

The question is:  A friend of mine is running NDP386 on a 386/33mhz
and wants to know (if it is possible/how to) determine from within
a program 1) Amount of free memory and 2) Size of and number of all
opened I/O units.
