Lines: 21 Is there any standard (or non-standard) way of defining a color sampled image in postscript (I am referring to a color analog of the "image" operator. Not to [set|current][rgb|hsb]color.) The "Red" book has a footnote on pg. 72 (sec. 4.7) which begins: "At present, the PostScript language does not provide a way to represent full color in a single image..." The implication is that maybe someday there will be such a mechanism. What's the current state of affairs?
