Keywords: please..... Message-ID: <99465@unix.cis.pitt.edu> Date: 5 Mar 91 10:05:43 GMT Followup-To: comp.os.cpm Organization: The Last Jedi Lines: 26 Greetings. I asked this before, with no replies: How does one boot a Sol-20 "Terminal Computer"? I have 2 8" drives, cables, and disks that supposedly have CP/M & FORTH on them. When I turn on the Sol20, I get the ">" but no matter what I type, I get a "?" in return. Not even an error message! The system has 3 s100 boards: 16K SRAM, 32K SRAM, and a drive controller. I have no docs - perhaps the DIP switches need to be changed. The drives are Shugart (sp?) 801s (SSSD ;-) and the disks are iffy - that's what 5+ years in a cellar... ;-) Take care. P.S. Please help, this thing is just sitting there - the 8" drive enclosures look more and more tempting for a project ;-) -- _______________________________________________________________________________ "The Force will be with you, always."
