Keywords: toner carts Message-ID: <1991Mar4.162626.5247@wsrcc.com> Date: 4 Mar 91 16:26:26 GMT Organization: Wolfgang S Rupprecht Computer Consulting, Washington DC. Lines: 21 Back when laser printers were young and all the print engines were Cannon ;-), I recall seeing tons of articles on refilling your own toner cartriges. The kit I recall seeing had two parts. Part B was a recharge part, the toner, new pads, wipers and some cleaning goop. Part A was a little sliding door that you put on the top of the toner reservoir the first time you refilled the cartridge. This made it *much* easier to refill the cartridge in the future. Well, I had no need to use any of those kits then. Now that I do - it seems that nobody advertises or sells the kits anymore (although lots of places will gladly recharge your catridge for almost the mail-order price of a new one ;-( ). Does anyone have leads on, or any experiences with any laser printer cartrige recharge kits? -wolfgang -- Wolfgang Rupprecht wolfgang@wsrcc.com (or) uunet!wsrcc!wolfgang Snail Mail Address: Box 6524, Alexandria, VA 22306-0524
