At least the PC/TCP and CUTCP versions have a built-in FTP server so VM users can stay logged-in while doing transfers. The only one I know of that's ever been available in source form for free was a variant Greg Minshall did while at UCB, which was in the 4bsd tn3270 distribution. I don't think it got any maintenance after about 1987, so I wouldn't expect it to build out of the box. It assumed a U-B socket library. James B.
