Hello,

    By the way, the first line of the "players/default" file should
be a blank line.  Basically, the patch posted to comp.sources.games
left out the first blank line.  The blank line is normally the
character name; if it is blank, it gets the name from the
login id of the user.

So, just insert a blank line above the "50" in the new default file.
