To rehash things, I couldn't get Music-X to boot w/ expansion ram. Someone suggested that the fast ram may be bad. I'm sorry I don't remember who it was, but you were infact correct. At least I'm pretty sure you are. I ran a program called systest and it reveiled bad fast ram somewhere... Bingo.
