You don't need to buy an IBM terminal program, just find a friend with Telix or ProComm or somesuch. A null modem is very easy to make. An alternative, if you want to do this the long way, is to upload files to a common site (your mainframe account) and then have the other computer download it, but if you can do this, just make the null modem!
