It was a lousy day. At any rate, I believe you can control the Toaster completely via Arexx scripts. I think the calls are floating around somewhere if you need them. I don't remember who had them but I remember seeing them posted. I just wish they had designed some software tools for developers and hackers to work with like the guys at Truevision did. It would have gone a long way in alleviating problems such as the one you describe. I can't see any reason to eat up 5 megs of ram just to grab some frames to 24-bit files or "shallower" bit planes. The TARGA init's itself on powerup and you can control it for capture and saving of images with programs that take up around 10K each.
