I also use a switch box and a cable I purchased from Redmond Cable to choose between sending the flickerFixed output to the NEC or good 'ol 23pin Amiga RGB. The NEC does not have composite in. Just the 9 (or 15 w/o converter) pin RGB type input. My question: Is DCTV totally out of the picture for a setup like this? With the NEC-3D is there any way of using DCTV? I'm guessing a big yes. Next question: Have you seen Firecracker? If so, would it be usable on my system described above? I'd appreciate if anyone could list the (major) differences between the two and also welcome opinions. BTW: I'm pretty confused by the recent deluge of "high color" add on boards for the Amiga. 1) Are they all 24bit color? 2) What are all of them? :-) 3) What are their resolutions? 4) If not 24bit color then how many colors at a time out of how many? 5) Can I use any of them on the above equipment configuration. 6) Other main features, like digitization etc... Whew :-) -Beej
