Well, I'm not so sure if that's true...
I have a DiamondScan and I also know this is one of the rare multi-sync
which can handle 'Video In'. I have it hooked up to my VCR and I can
watch TV on it, just like the 1084s. BUT My Amiga uses a different port,
it's not the same as the port above, and this is the Analog RGB.
My guess is that Colourburst uses the normal RGB at 15KHz, which means
it _should_ work with any monitor which supports 15KHz RGB, which includes
1084s, DiamondScan and NEC 3D. Devices like DCTV probably requires the port
which is only available to the monitors like 1084s and DiamondScan...
