Frey, Your problems don't sound too horrific. If getting a new keyboard (around $130) is out of the question, then you can reconfigure any key to do the same thing as [Return]. 1) You could get a program that sets up what's called AutoKeys and poke the info in, thereby letting the pgm. do the work. 2) You can actually write a pgm. (get a good DOS manual) and put it into your start-up sequence. Getting new cords is not a problem. Either go to an Amiga show or send away for them. Either way is pretty inexpencive. A new ROM 1.3 can be orfered from a Co. like Grapevine Group for only $29.95. Not much at all. (Some free advise--it makes sense getting 1.3 now because not all pgms. run on 2.0) However, ROM 2.0 can also be ordered and nowadays good docs. can be purchesed for it. (You could also call a BBS and download the aformenchened ROMs, but I don't recomend it. Its better to buy.) Hope I helped, Brad Strum bstrum@amigalynx.nj.us-------------------bstrum/Micronesia Music sysop--Halls of Time. I do not convey to anyone to exept the above advise.
