Appletalk is one of those little "unknowns" with me. We have several Macs hooked up to a postscript printer at my school, and a few GS's nearby. The macs work fine sharing the printer, but I can't figgure out how to set up the GS disk. I used the installer to install Appleshare on 3.5, then removed Appleshare (like the instructions say) to just leave the AT and laserwriter drivers. I'm using 5.04 for the GS. The Mac software though is several years old, and I don't know what version. I know the other end is set up right because we disconected a mac to stick the GS in there, and all that leaves me is problems with getting my system (a Rom01 w/ 1.25 at school running 5.04) to be recognized. I've been porting over PS files to UNIX machines, and dumping them, but we don't have softfonts, so w/o the GS direct to the laserwriter, I can forget everything but Geneva, and courier and such. And in that case, why bother?! Can anyone please give me any help with this one? I want to set up a 3.5 to boot, use an install fonts/da's DA to add fonts from another 3.5 and just print my work to the Laserwriter. I'll use the tiny launcher to make room for the Laser driver. Thanks, Dan
