The disk was just downloaded, unpacked, and it was on the second boot. Unless any were already on the disk, it was virgin. The problem occured from copying files with the Finder from one disk to another, swapping. 1 MB GSRAM (pre DMA), 256K motherboard (ROM 01). No /RAM5 installed (since it seems 5.0.4 is really picky about the size of a RAMdisk when you boot, contrary to the version I was using (forgot)).
