Ste's with the new, working chip are marked somewhere with a red dot I believe. It's either on the back or on the chip itself - Can't remember offhand. Maybe Allan Pratt could help you out with that one. However, the word in the UK is that Atari will only correct **THEIR** mistake if you have a problem with, you guessed it, an ATARI H/Drive. They will not help you out with a third party drive, at least not for free. I know it sucks, but that's Atari's second-to-none customer support for you 8-). Jas.
