Ever noticed that the international karate-theme is almost exactly the same as that track from Ryuichi sakamoto's 'merry christmas mr. lawrence' (called forbidden colors)? Now I wondered, David Whittaker is not really the person to copy someones themes (Right? right?) and Ryuichi isn't either. It's too much of a coincidence that the two melodies sound almost exactly the same. They didn't cooperate, I happen to know that. (Am I misinformed?) Now you ask me, why do you want to know? It's not so important, right? Well I don't think so. It's been nagging me for several years now. So it is important to me.
