I need help getting the mod for the NEC 1037A and 1036 drives to get them
to read/write Spectre GCR disks.  So far, writes past track $40 (64) or
thereabouts are pretty good (only a few problems) on disks formatted on
the drive.  On disks formatted on a Mac however, reads consistently fail.
Same goes for the other direction: Spectre GCR disks are partly unreadable
on a real Mac.

I understand there is a fix, and I have not been able to get GBS "live" over
the phone, so I'm using the net now.
