It has been brought to my attention that is not particularly feasible to
compile a constantly accurate and up to date listing of various peoples
comments about vendor quality.  Thus, I have decided to abandon the project
and have forwarded all replies to the moderator (?) of comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc
who supposedly already has such a list.

Thank you all for your information though.
