I have a 251-1 and a WD1003-rah controller. the controller has jumpers to allow the computer to translate the sectors into 17 for the computer in case the bios won't handle 26. do I want it translated or not? also I tried using ontrack dm to format the disks and it will format the disk if I tell it that the disk is a ST277R but I can't write a boot track or my FAT's. I tried just letting the dm use the parameters it wanted but then it only formatted the disk sectors to 17. -- Don Levinson == sxdal@acad3.alaska.edu == sxdal@alaska
