I am looking for a program called QuickDOS (Gazelle Software?) that will work with MSDOS 4.01. Alternately, I am looking for something of similar functionality. QuickDOS is a touchy-feelie replacement for most command line operations. It is window oriented (but not dependent on any external window environment). The screen has a "menu bar" at the top, listing such commands as Directory, copy, move, attributes, etc. There is a main window which shows the files in the current directory. By requesting the above Directory command, one is presented with a text-graphic representation of the directory structure on the disk, and can select a new directory by moving with the arrow keys. If you know where I can get a newer version of this program, or one that is like it, I would greatly appreciate some mail. PLEASE EMAIL TO ME! I DON'T READ THIS NEWSGROUP (heck, I have no time to read any newsgroup!!). Thanks in advance. Please include ftp sites and filenames of things that sound close. I will be more than happy to give them a try. If the QuickDOS program is Shareware or Public Domain, I would sure like to know it. -- ---------------------------------+------------------------------------- Mickey R.
