Message-ID: <1991Mar5.234101.4075@athena.cs.uga.edu> Date: 5 Mar 91 23:41:01 GMT Distribution: na Organization: University of Georgia, Athens Lines: 16 Many thanks to the people who repsonded earlier about my missing command file- but now I have an even weirder problem. After giving up on recovering from a hd missing both FAT tables, I commenced to reformat it. I used debug, re-low-leveled it, fdisk'ed it, and then tried to format it high level. Nothing. It said something to the effect of "Drive? What Drive?" This was not a good thing. Any clues? Thanks in advance. Quipment specs: Gatway 2000 XT clone, WD RLL controller, ST238R hard drive; Low-leveled with: g=c800:5. Specs for drive: 615 4 616 616 11 7. Fdisk with one partition. Did make it active. All done on low speed. -- David W. Millians millia@athena.cs.uga.edu All I say is untrue. [He was] a friend, a brother, and a mortal enemy, an unknown demon, two worlds together- a tiger and a child.
