XTALK question - how to disable timer? Message-ID: <41268@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU> Date: 7 Mar 91 19:23:40 GMT Sender: nobody@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Reply-To: brand@janus.Berkeley.EDU Lines: 11 This seems like a straightforward question but, for the life of me, I cannot solve it. I am using XTALK XVI with my Hayes compatible modem and trying to dial a number. When I type "GO" the modem dials and starts ringing the other end. Simultaneously, there is a timer (which starts at 40) which counts down but, unfortunately, it reaches 0 before the call is completed. How do I disable this? I have scoured the manual but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, -Graham
