Message-ID: <31900002@inmet> Date: 6 Mar 91 23:59:00 GMT Lines: 19 Nf-ID: #N:inmet:31900002:000:863 Nf-From: inmet.inmet.com!gjs Mar 6 18:59:00 1991 The expanded memory manager for the Sharp PC-6220, EMM4J.SYS, supports mapping into addresses between 256K and 640K (the line in config.sys is "device = emm4j.sys /o"). However, it does not support mapping into the unused areas between 640K and 1024K, which would be very useful for DESQview. Can the EMM driver for the TI TravelMate or the CompuAdd Companion map expanded memory into the area above 640K? Could one of you who own these machines send me a summary of the driver's options from the manual? This capability may be cryptically described as page frame size, number, or location. Any help greatly appreciated. -- George Snyder -- (617) 661-1840 FAX (617) 868-2843 Intermetrics, Inc. -- -- gjs@inmet.inmet.com (from internet/MILnet) 733 Concord Avenue -- -- uunet!inmet!gjs (from usenet) Cambridge, MA 02138 --
