Summary: can't paste charts from StatView II to MacDraw II Keywords: StatView II MacDraw II paste chart disgust Message-ID: <3857@ac.dal.ca> Date: 3 Mar 91 12:45:50 GMT Lines: 21 Organisation: Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Hi y'all ! I am at my wit's end with StatView II and MacDraw II 1.1 ! At work I am trying to use these two to create charts for a paper, but I have been unable to get MacDraw II to accept charts copied from StatView II ! I have tried turning colour off, pasting the chart into a scrapbook, then into MacDraw, direct paste and so on - in Finder and MultiFinder. Despite these being small charts (THREE bars :-( ), and having 5 megs of RAM on a IIcx, MacDraw gives me a "Sorry, there is not enough memory to do this" error every time ! Grrrr ... Changing RAM allocation to 4 megs did not help. Anyone know what I am doing wrong ? I have ordered DeskDraw and hope that THAT will solve this mess. But I don't see why MacDraw can't have these simple charts pasted in !! I can see I am going to have to hope that the "Pro" version fixes this ... but I need this capability NOW !! :-p Any help mightily appreciated ! regards, Jack Jack Lawson Dalhousie University "There are three kinds of lies: lies, Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA damned lies and statistics."
