We've got a IIx that we're trying to put on thin Ethernet. We've done this sort of thing with a bunch of Macs before, with no problemo. Pop in the NuBus Ethernet card, pop on the T, install the drivers and walk away. Well, this time things aren't that simple. The IIx doesn't hook in to the net. I can't see printers or servers from it. I've checked the control panel to make sure the driver is up (we're on mode 1), and appleTalk is active. I've swapped cards, tried other machines at the node, and tried other drivers, so I'm relatively sure its the machine...or is it that the IIcx needs a different EtherNet driver? The tranceiver is onboard, and there are probably a few other little details I've tried, but I'm so frustrated that I can't remember all of them right now. Any suggestions, please EMAIL to me... Thanks, Mikey. mike@pyrite.som.cwru.edu
