What do I need??". Yes, an SE/30 can do color. As a matter of fact, an SE/30 is very similar to aMac IIcx in power terms, just a smaller case and one special slot is all. What do you need? Well, a color card and a monitor is all. They are very easy to get. The slot type in an SE/30 is call a PDS (Processor Direct Slot). In simple terms, one pin on the slot equals one pin on the processor. PDS cards are usually more expensive than "normal" NuBus cards. The only type of color card that seems not to be available is a full blown accelerated 24 bit type card. My guess is that based on the power needs of such a card, they will be the exclusive providence of NuBus power machines (like my Mac IIx, :-) for at least a little longer. If you have any specific type of card in mind, you can e-mail me directly. Happy Mac-ing :-). Allen Hsu
