Never had a problem with it. But one thing that I heard back then was that the PRAM was powered by a lithium battery which was soldered to the motherboard, and was supposed to be good for at least five years. Well, recently I've been losing my PRAM settings. Every time I power off, if I leave the machine alone for more than a day, it comes up with the blinking-question-mark-on-the-disk icon when I start it up again. I boot from a floppy, reset the PRAM, and restart, and bam it boots from the hard drive again. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best/cheapest way to fix this? It's not crippling, just really annoying. -- Rob Jellinghaus | "Next time you see a lie being spread or Autodesk, Inc. | a bad decision being made out of sheer robertj@Autodesk.COM | ignorance, pause, and think of hypertext." {decwrl, uunet}!autodesk!robertj | -- K.
