Message-ID: <20534.27d29923@oregon.uoregon.edu> Date: 5 Mar 91 02:59:47 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: University of Oregon Lines: 12 I just had a Mac II upgraded to an FX with 16 MB of RAM. Now there appears to be INIT conflicts and 'About the Finder...' reports 16 M total but ~9.9 M used by the system (should be ~1.7 M). I've installed '8 Access' and 'NanoDisk.' I have INITPicker and have arranged these memory management programs to load first (after INITPicker). The most serious result for me is that the drivers for the IEEE card I use to collect data with will not load (MacADIOS 488n). I have alot of INITs and will continue to remove them until I discover the source of the conflict; any advice (constructive) will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Steve Hodges hodges@oregon.uoregon.edu
