You do not need a LaserWriter to print PostScript to disk. You merely need the LaserWriter driver and LaserWriter Prep. Use Chooser to select the LaserWriter driver, and Page Setup... to alert the app that the printer has changed, and then command-F or command-K as usual. Remember the remote LaserWriter (or Lino or ...) must have the save prep loaded, or else you will have to reset it (and use your command-K prepared file).
