The software must do the following: - check for logical consistency - make the diagram readable (i.e. automatically rearrange the pieces, minimize line crossings, balance etc.) - be easy to use for a naive computer user. The software would typically be used by planners or people trying to set up a problem definition on paper, and would include time dependent sequencing. Any pointers would be appreciated.
