I am new to the World of Macintosh! Recently, our office acquired a MAC SE30 to be used by our "Head Honcho". Our Boss's knowledge of computers is limited to keystrokes and not much more. I talked with the people at the MacWarehouse and other Mac users and they suggested that I order the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, and Norton Utilites. I threw in a couple of extras like a Grappler LS Interface ( used to hook Mac up to HP Laserjet), a Screen Locker, and 1 meg SIMMS 100ns chips. Speaking to the people at MacWarehouse, I also told them I would like to dump my monthly Professional Write and/or WordPerfect 5.1 figures (Z248) to my Boss's terminal (Mac SE30) for his "chop chop" and charting. They suggested ordering the MACLink Plus/PC V4.5. I guess what I want to know is: 1.) Will the MAClink Plus/PC v4.5 address my need for hooking the Mac SE30 to my Zenith Z248? 2.) How may Z248 systems can I hook up using MAClink Plus? 3.) What additional cable would I need to hook the systems up? ( At least 30 feet away from each other. ) 4.) Did I even order the right thing? If anything is unclear, I will respond under the topic "..New Macuser"
