Date: 5 Mar 91 16:12:43 Message-ID: Sender: larry@mitra.uucp (Larry Williamson) While setting up uucico on our Mips M/120, I've run into an odd problem. Our dialout modem is a trailblazer. When dialed into another site with a trailblazer, connection is made at 9600 baud, uucico is happy. (The m/120 drops the occassional character, but still everything works fine). When dialed in to a site with a 2400 buad modem, everything starts off fine, our machine logs in okay, initial handshaking looks good, but then we get an assert error.... rmesg - 'H' ASSERT ERROR (uucico) pid: 13659 (3/5-14:09:19) PKCGET READ (-1) [FILE: pk1.c, LINE: 432] This is unfortunately not a very helpful message to me. Can anyone offer some insight as to what I may look for. -Larry PS. if it is of any help I've included the uucico conversation that preceeds this failure. It is as follows.... imsg >^M^J^PShere=fatpacs^@Login Successful: System=fatpacs omsg "Smitra -Q0 -x9" imsg >^J^PROK^@msg-ROK Rmtname fatpacs, Role MASTER, Ifn - 6, Loginuser - root rmesg - 'P' imsg >^PPtfg^@got Ptfg wmesg 'U'g omsg "Ug" send 73 pkgetpack: Connodata=1 rec h->cntl 77 send 61 state - [INIT code a] (1) pkgetpack: Connodata=2 rec h->cntl 61 send 53 state - [INIT code a]&[INIT code b] (3) pkgetpack: Connodata=3 rec h->cntl 57 state - [O.K.] (10) Proto started g *** TOP *** - role=1, setline - X gtwvec: dir /usr/spool/uucp/fatpacs wmesg 'H' send 210 rmesg - 'H' ASSERT ERROR (uucico) pid: 13659 (3/5-14:09:19) PKCGET READ (-1) [FILE: pk1.c, LINE: 432]
