Per the discussion in alt.config, a new group has been created:

alt.sys.unisys - Unisys machines (Burroughs, Sperry, Convergent Tech., etc.)
 
The vote for comp.sys.unisys failed by 5 votes (104 - 9). I have a note
on my calendar to bring the group up for a re-vote beginning the first
week in September. This "alt" group should get things going in the interim.
If the "comp" group eventually passes, I will call for the removal of
the "alt" group.
