Each image takes up around 800 bytes (LZW compressed). That's measly compared to any program archive. I mean, I have a "fairly" recent database for the NeXT people I "talk" to on a fairly active basis, but I'm missing some people who entered the company recently. And I'm definitely missing Images for people from other companies (like Lighthouse) who I talk to on a fairly regular basis..... Rather than go around to each company and ask for Image files for their People, why don't we have a central database that keeps track of who has what picture? I'll put my picture in the public domain. ;-) I *would* dump the pictures I have, but I'm sure they are copyrighted material (under the Berne invisi- copyright), so the respective companies would have to do it.... What do people have to say about this? NeXTMail is a great media, and I absolutely *love* having the pictures available when I write/reply/read. It makes for a much more *personal* dimension to this interpersonal communicating. That's my 2 yen worth.
